Sweet Williams are one of those lovely old-fashioned flowers, easy to grow and famous for their spicy-scent. The Auricula-eyed Group are irresistible, dense clusters of flowers in dark tapestry rubies, fuchsia, scarlet, purple and white. Best of all, they are intensely fragrant, with a delicious, rich perfume.

Dating back to the 1920s, 'Holborn Glory' bloom with a lovely combination of purple-red with a pristine white ring bloom on straight, strong stalks. Easy to grow, everyone can grow them to perfection.

Sweet Williams have been grown in gardens for hundreds of years, they are famous for their gentle sweet scent and flower with flat clusters of flowers all summer from May to August. Dianthus barbatus 'Newport Pink' are irresistible, coral-pink flowers with delicately fringed petals.

Echinacea purpurea 'Cheyenne Spirit' is the latest Gold Medal Winner of the species, this cultivar will provide a mix of flower colours. Not limited to one colour, each plant can bloom in a sumptuous range of colour, Gold, Scarlet, Orange, Rosy-Red, Cream, Purple and Yellow. This vivid new mixture is a complete innovation in first-year flowering seed perennials.

Distinguished by its exceptionally large flowers, Echinacea 'Paradiso Tall Mix' blooms in a large range of shades including some lovely, soft hues. Very easy to grow, with good vigour and robust strong stems that branch from the base, the plants can be used for perennial beds and high-impact landscaping and as a cut or dried flower.

Erysimum cheiri 'Sugar Rush F1' is a versatile and hardy biennial that stands out for its striking, jewel-like hues and for its repeat blooming cycle in both autumn and spring​. In a mix of sweetly scented vibrant shades, they can be in flower as little as 9 weeks from sowing. The perfect addition to autumn and winter gardening.

This old English cottage plant is making a comeback, and no wonder. The astonishing, velvety Wallflower 'Blood Red' with deep crimson-red flowers is a favourite with gardeners. They are ideal for borders and edging, they could also be used in large containers….and of course, walls!

Wallflower ‘Cloth of Gold' is a favorite with gardeners, each plant wears a cloak of the finest gold and the large golden-yellow flowers are filled with a sweet fragrance, from mid-spring and throughout summer. They are a perfect foil for daffodils and many other spring bulbs.

‘Fair Lady Mixed' is a classic tried and trusted variety. Reliably hardy, this uniform mixture blooms in a wide range of colours, both pastels and bright colours and includes the more unusual dusky-pink shades. Marvelous, fragrant and floriferous, they are extremely easy to grow and very rewarding.

Eschscholzia 'Thai Silk' boasts large semi-double blooms in breathtaking jewel tones and a chiffon-like texture reminiscent of glorious oriental silks. This exotic mix contains the Thai Silk series of colours: Appleblossom, Rose, Apricot Chiffon, and Pink Champagne.

If there's one plant that can inject a little razzle-dazzle into the border during gloomy late summers it is Helenium. From late July 'Helena' blooms with masses of vibrant blooms in a spectrum of rich colours from gold to mahogany red. Perfect for the back of the border and wonderful for cutting.

Helichrysum bracteatum is the most well known and is probably the best of all the everlasting flowers. 'Swiss Giants Mixed' is a special selection of large flowered, double strawflowers. Vigorous and gorgeous in the garden, and perfect for drying. Fill your beds with colour, these stunning blossoms need very little to thrive other than light watering and good drainage.

Dames Rocket produce flowers varying in colour from deep rich purple, through all the paler lilac shades to white. Highly attractive to bees and other beneficial insects, the fragrant flowers perfume the air in late spring and early summer evenings.

'Melton Pastels' is a great border plant, densely flowering plant with strong stalks of pin cushion flowers in shades of shades of pink, cherry red, mauve and purple. The tall stems make excellent cut flowers and are good for the middle of the border, giving a succession of blooms through till autumn.

The Kniphofia hybrids have extended both the flower colour and height range. The usual fiery reds and oranges work particularly well in a planting scheme based on 'hot' colours - use them to light up sultry August borders. The cooler yellow, cream, ivory and sometimes green flowers is more restful.

Extra early, extra large blooms are the feature of this award winning sweet pea, an excellent choice for early spring colour and the best strain for producing early cut flowers. If you have never seen this kind of sweet pea on long stems before, and don’t quite understand what all the fuss is all about…they are marvellous …guaranteed to make you fall completely in love with them.

The Heirloom Mixture is a wonderful mixture of the Heirloom Grandiflora Sweet Peas. Representing most of the colours of this type and containing varieties that date back to the 16th century. Fabulous flowers in great colours that grow on vigorous plants, each have an intense full bodied perfume.

Lovingly nicknamed the 'unicorn sweet pea', 'Enchante' is an amazing tri-colour variety in blush pink, white and soft mauve or lavender. Raised and introduced by Dr Keith Hammett, this fabulously feminine sweet pea will produce fist fulls of demure little blooms for a gorgeous display.
