Lettuce ‘Forellenschluss’ is an Austrian heirloom, a romaine type that has the delicate taste and texture of a butterhead. The leaves have a crisp rib and beautiful red speckles, and while being extremely attractive in the salad bowl, it is the taste really should be emphasised - slightly sweet and very soft and fine in structure, it is absolutely gorgeous.

With glorious deep red, frilly leaves, Lettuce ‘Mascara’ is simply stunning. Developed in Holland to retain its colour through the hottest part of the summer, it has both taste and beauty. It is slow to bolt and crops long and hard. For cultivation from spring through to autumn, Lettuce ‘Mascara’ sets the standard in its class.

Lettuce 'Gustav's Salad' is an heirloom butterhead variety that is compact and silky soft with a a delicious melt-in-the-mouth flavour. Upright, small and compact this sweet and buttery lettuce is reliable and perfect for growing where space might be limited. A new staple in the salad garden, the eating quality is of the next level.

A very popular and reliable variety for well over 100 years, Onion 'Density 4' is ideally suited to our climate producing medium to large, globe shaped, straw coloured bulbs with pure white flesh and a good flavour. As a standard maincrop it offers excellent quality, high yields and a very good storage life.

One of the deepest red onions we have ever seen and superior in colour and quality to any other red onion. Onion 'Magnate' is extensively grown for its for its attractive 'blood red' colour. An excellent cropper and ideal for storage, it produces beautiful globe shaped, firm well flavoured quality bulbs.

'Morada de Amposta' is a large sweet onion named after the small Spanish town of Amposta. A heritage variety that produces attractive red-bronze onions, not too hot, with a pleasant, exceptional sweetness typical of Spanish onions. The beautiful, large globes weigh around 200 to 250 grams.

Well adapted and very widely planted. ‘Red Creole’ is a medium maturing, open-pollinated short day red onion. It has a clear, spicy-sweet flavour of medium heat and develops a sweet, mellow flavour when caramelised. Drought tolerant, disease resistant and especially hardy, it is considered by many to be the ideal onion.

Incredibly sweet and beautiful, Sweet Pepper 'Golden Marconi’ have a wonderful taste and feature sweet skin, medium thick flesh and a mild and juicy flavour. The vigorous, productive plants produce long and slender fruits that are tapered to a blunt end. The fruits look elegantly beautiful on the plant.

Pumpkin 'Wee-Bee-Little' is an award winning little pumpkin that is very endearing. Remarkably miniature and averaging 8 to 9cm in diameter, they are delicious and decorative, they are the perfect size for children to grow and for small hands to hold. 12 weeks to harvest, each plant producing an average of 9 fruits per plant

Spinach ‘F1 Piano’ is a modern, variety with smooth, green leaves. Highly productive, it is completely resistant to all races of spinach mildew and is very strongly resistant to bolting. With these properties it ranks among the most successful varieties for summer and autumn cultivation.

Adaptable to many growing and soil conditions, Squash ‘Delica F1’ performs best in moderate temperatures. It consistently produces high quality, dark green striped fruit with a bright orange, creamy interior. The flesh is of excellent quality, sweet with a delicate taste of chestnut.

Orange Scented Thyme is a useful and versatile plant. The grey-green leaves are extremely fragrant with a with a delicious scent of balsam and oranges. An excellent herb and ideal added to a bouquet garni, they blend their essence with both savory and sweet dishes to create some memorable flavours.

This is a lovely variety of tomato which, whilst you would describe it as a cherry tomato, produces fruits in the shape of a pear. Tomato ‘Red Pear’ produce small, solid-bodied fruits that are have a sweet and flavoursome with soft and velvety textured flesh. Perfect for salads, the shape creating additional interest to any dish.
