How to buy:
Use the drop down list under 'Select Amount' to choose how much you want (or need) to give. If none of the preselected amounts are suitable, you can use multiples. For example, if you decide that €30.00 is the amount that you would like, choose the €10.00 amount, and then type '3' in the quantity box.

How to send:
The Gift certificates are basically just numbers and can be sent in a variety of ways. We can send them to you, to pass on at your leisure, or we can send them directly to the recipient meaning that your job is done (once you have paid!). For a quick, or last minute, gift the certificate can be sent by email. Alternatively, we can send the details by post as a more traditional gift voucher.

So you choose, send it to yourself, or click the box to send it directly to the lucky recipient.

Sending it to myself: If you choose this option, then the gift certificate details will be emailed directly to you once the order is completed. You then can either forward the details, or write down the certificate code in your own card, and pass it on. You can also tick the 'I want to order printed...' box which means that we post you a printed certificate which you can slip into a vessel of your choosing.

Sending it direct: Tick the button to send it direct and we will ask you for the recipients name and pertinent details. Fill in an email address for electronic delivery, or a postal address for us to send a paper Certificate too.

How to Spend:
This is the fun bit. Just shop on the website in the normal way; either adding seeds to your basket in a considered way, calculating 'all year interest' or the the 3D aspects of your flower beds, or by chucking them in willy nilly because you like the picture or can't resist the name (who can resist the opportunity to grow Doddering Dillies).

When you come to view your shopping basket, you'll see a box to enter your gift voucher code. Enter it, and click on 'apply' and the value of the Gift voucher will magically disappear from your grand total.

You don't have to spend it all at once: We understand that you might not want to spend in one big splurge. You might have your vegetable beds planned out, and want to get them started before getting your head round what to with with your flower beds. Don't worry, we just hold the balance until you need it. For example, you have a €25.00 gift certificate. You dive into the site for a quick look and can't resist the new 'Cosmic Carrot Collection' in Special Offers (who can?). You buy them on the spot and use your gift certificate to pay for them. This leaves over €20.00 unspent. That's OK, when you place your next order, just use the Certificate number again and the remaining balance will be removed from the grand total. The certificate can be spread over as many orders as you like.

Checking your balance:
To do this you will need an account. Log in to your account (on the front page, top left), and click on the 'My Account' link (just to the left of where you logged in. Here you'll be able to see your past orders, your wishlist and also check your Gift Card Balance.

You can open an account at any time to check your balance, it doesn't matter if your order was made as a Guest.
