Acoelorrhaphe wrightii is native to Florida and parts of the Caribbean, this striking fan palm is small to moderately tall. Hardy to -6°C (20°F) it is one of just a few palms that can survive in saturated soil conditions. A good outdoor palm for a milder areas and a very tropical alternative to a hedge of shrubs.

They are well known for use in rockeries, but the cushion forming habit also makes it useful as a ground cover; it can be planted in beds and is perfect for underplanting shrubs. they can also be used between paving and walls, or create a wonderful foil for spring bulbs.
This is THE tea; the source of all non-herbal teas. As a plant it is good for informal shrub borders, natural hedges and privacy screening. It also makes a good background for herb gardens and is a great plant to grow in a container.
