Papaver alpinum is an 'Old World' poppy native to high mountains of Central Europe. This delightful plant is like a miniature version of the Iceland Poppy.
A tufted perennial with much divided, grey-green leaves with plenty of flowers, in shades of pink, apricot, yellow, orange and white throughout the summer.

A prolific bloomer with single, red, cup-shaped flowers that each have a black blotch in the centre, this poppy sends up two dozen or more lovely little flowers that look just like ladybirds. Every garden needs a poppy and this one is an exceptional annual. They are a delight to grow and very easy from seed.

With the classic poppy markings, a stunning scarlet colour with clear black blotches on each petal, this titchy poppy is quite unique in the poppy world; the inner petals are not flat but stay upright. This difference has earned it the common name “The Tulip Poppy”.

'Angels Choir' is a glorious mixture of double flowered poppies, in soft colours from whites to a full range of pastels including bi-colours and some interesting picotee types. These romantic, old-fashioned poppies have silky-petalled blossoms that dance on graceful stems.

Originally raised in the 1880's by the Rev. Wilks in his garden in Shirley near Croydon in Surrey. The flowers are often likened to tissue paper, in colours from the brightest scarlet to pure white, with all shades of pink in between and all varieties of flaked and edged flowers.
