Lavendula angustifolia or English Lavender is thought to be the best Lavender for medicinal and aromatherapy purposes. This evergreen is a staple plant for the herb garden, the fragrant flowers have been used in perfumes, poultices and potpourris for centuries.

Munstead Lavender is a fragrant robust English lavender that, due to its short size and tightly held blooms, makes a great hedge. It flowers profusely in the spring, after which a good pruning will provide an attractive grey bush with highly aromatic leaves.

Lavendula 'Provence Blue' is unique, with silvery leaves on compact, tightly branched plants topped with dazzling deep blue spires. It hails from the French region of Provence, where the fields are a veritable sea of blue.

Lavender 'Lady' is a fast growing variety with larger than average blue flowers. It is unique in that it blooms quickly when started from seed.
If sown late January to early February the plants can be brought into flower from May onwards therefore making it suitable for summer bedding.
