A prolific cropper, French Bean 'Cobra' is a black-seeded variety that produces beans ahead of most other varieties. With lovely pale violet flowers, this vegetable is pretty enough to grow in the ornamental garden, too. RHS AGM. With very slender round dark green stringless pods Safari is very easy to grow and give superb yields for a small amount of space, outlay and effort. “Sprite” is a lovely, elegant variety bred in continental Europe, producing exquisite smooth pencil thin pods on bushy, compact plants which need no support through the season. The beans are the ‘filet’ type, very slender round dark green stringless pods. Generously produced and very tender.

It is one of the most flavoursome of vegetables, standing beside asparagus and globe artichokes. Sweet and delicate, it melts in the mouth.
Introduced to the seed trade between 1914-1918. This lovely, old fashioned Broccoli variety is a very disease resistant, very hardy and very prolific producer of large dark green heads. Italian Green Sprouting Broccoli will produce a number of good-size side shoots once the initial head is harvested.
