Onion F1 Kamal is a superb hybrid variety that produces attractive red, globe shaped bulbs. It produces high yields that have very good storage ability. A first-class, deliciously flavoured onion with a good strong red colour, both inside and out, suitable for eating or for the show bench.

Onion 'Globo' has the classic ‘flask’ shape with pale straw skin colour and dark veining, this is an early onion and perfect for the August September shows. Sow maincrop onions March to April outdoors, and thin early. For very large onions sow December to early January and transplant seedlings in spring.

A splendid carmine-red onion “Long de Florence Simane” is an old continental variety that is very popular in Europe. Elongated in shape, this maincrop variety can be picked still small and used raw sliced into salads or grown to maturity, they can be baked or roasted on skewers to retain their unusual 'bottle' shape.

Redmate is an excellent “duel purpose” variety of onion. It can be harvested early and eaten as a mild salad onion or left to grow. Red bulb onions are mild and the sweetest tasting of all onions and recommended to liven up the salad bowl.

Onion Rijnsburger is an excellent Dutch variety with uniform sized, large globe-shaped bulbs with thin necks. They have a beautiful firm straw coloured skin, pure white flesh and a good flavour. As a standard maincrop it offers excellent quality, high yields and a very good storage life.

Overwintering Onion ‘Senshyu Yellow Globe’ is a hardy and reliable maincrop onion. Introduced from Japan for harvesting before the traditional spring sown bulbing varieties are ready. It produces heavy yields of semi-globe shaped bulbs with straw coloured skins. It matures June to July from an August sowing.

Bunching onion “Ishikura” is a outstanding variety of that does not bulb but forms long white stalks. It is a perennial variety that is cold hardy, very adaptable to various climates and resistant to pink root and botrytis leaf blight. It is suitable for later crops and for overwintering.
